Thousand kilometre walk at EESS

A team from Tammy’s Dance Studio was among walkers participating in the first lap of The Aylmer Kinsmen 1,000 Kilometre Walk to raise money for St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, June 18, at East Elgin Secondary School. The walk continued Saturday night with dancers , recognition of local cancer survivors at 8 p.m. and a remembrance service for those who lost their battle with the disease at 10 p.m. The event raised over $15,000.
