Charges laid in crash that killed Mike Wodzinski

A 65-year-old Thames Centre man has been charged with several Highway Traffic Act offences in connection to the early morning Friday, April 22 three-vehicle crash south of Belmont that killed Mike Wodzinski, 38, of Aylmer.

Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police Constable Adam Crewdson confirmed the man has been charged with:

• Fail to yield to traffic through highway;
• Fail to surrender completed daily inspection report;
• Overweight vehicle, and;
• Seven counts of overweight axles.

The accused is to appear in St. Thomas provincial offences court on Thursday, July 14.
