Little monsters walk through Belmont

Zao the Yorkshire terrier as Winnie-the-Poo Bear, left, Faith Farquhar, 11, as Tigger, Sinceritee Venair, 2, as Piglet (held by mom Nikki) and Milo the miniature horse as Eeyore, led by Sonya Langeveld, were just a few of the many participants of the Belmont HUB (Helping Unite Belmont) annual Little Monster Walk held throughout downtown Belmont on Saturday, Oct. 29. Parents were encouraged to dress up their youngsters in Halloween costumes, walk along Belmont Road and visit various businesses and community organizations to collect treats and socialize. The stops included the Belmont Library and the HUB Community Centre which were both decorated in haunting fashion.
