Max Frost

Frost, Max passed away peacefully at his home in Harrietsville with his family by his side on Sunday, November 5, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Donna Jean (Martin) Frost (2010). Dear father of Pamela Hall of London, Mark Frost of Belmont and Patti Frost of Harrietsville. Loving grandpa of Stephanie Lynn Bossence (Johnny Shore) and Samantha Jean Hall (Denny Firby). Proud great-grandpa of Caleb. Predeceased by sisters Gwen Campbell, Marion Holmes, Olga Mergler and an infant brother William. Born in St. Thomas Ontario on September 11, 1932, son of the late Harold and Pauline (Karn) Frost. Max was the milk man (who married the farmer’s daughter) and ran the milk gathering station in Harrietsville until 1969. For many years after he continued to collect milk from the local farmers and delivered to processing plants. Max was a driving force for baseball and hockey in the Harrietsville area. He played, coached and loved being part of the teams. Max was a member of the Belmont and Dorchester Golf Clubs and bowled at Cy’s Lanes. He was an avid Leafs, Blue Jays and Ti-Cats Fan. In retirement, Max enjoyed his love for baseball and hockey by cutting grass and cheering on the Teamers at Slo-Pitch City, as well as rooting for The Belmont Oldtimers and Dorchester Dolphins Hockey Clubs. Visitation at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home on Monday, November 13 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where the service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 11 am. Internment to follow at Dorchester Union Cemetery and reception at Slo-pitch City, 2156 Slo-Pitch Road, Dorchester.
