Rosalia “Rose” Beck
BECK, Rosalia “Rose” (nee Arnold) (December 28, 1933 – April 18, 2024)
Passed away peacefully, on Thursday, April 18th, 2024, at Terrace Lodge Long Term Care, Aylmer, Rosalia (Rose) Beck, formerly a resident of Courtland, in her 91st year. Born in Hungary, to Joseph and Magdalena (Zemanko) Arnold, she will be remembered as a longtime and devoted member of the former St. Ladislaus R.C. Church, Courtland (since 1958). Rose was also a member of the German Canadian Club, Aylmer. For many years, Rose worked alongside her husband Paul Beck (January 27, 2014), where they farmed tobacco until the 1980’s in Springfield, Ontario. Together they raised their sons and enjoyed watching their family continue to grow. Lovingly remembered by her sons and their partners. Arnold (Linda) Beck, of St. Thomas and Andrew (Wendy) Beck, of Aylmer. Always a proud grandmother to Sara (Chris), Cynthia (Matt), Emily, Alex, Broc, Bret (Amanda), Adam (Sarah), and Mike. Special great-grandmother to Thornley. Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her brother Frank (late Magdalena) Arnold.

Public visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th, 2024, between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Home Chapel, 262 Broadway Street, Tillsonburg. A Graveside Service of Christian Burial was held on Monday, April 22, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., officiated by Deacon Andy Always, of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish, Delhi.
