at and a food dish during the Legomania event for children at Aylmer Old Town Hall Theatre on Thursday afternoon, July 23. The event was the latest in a weekly series of fun activities for children held as part of the Summer Reading Program at Aylmer Old Town Hall Library. Two more weeks remained for the program with Music by Jake scheduled for Thursday, July 30 and the program finale featuring ice cream on Thursday, Aug. 2. Both events will begin at 2 p.m. This year’s them for the Summer Reading Club has been “Ready, Set, Play!” and children have been encouraged to participate in activities designed to build literacy skills.
