Local boy recovering after ATV crash
The nine-year-old Malahide boy who was seriously hurt in an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) collision Monday, July 6 is improving, Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police Constable Troy Carlson said in an update on Tuesday morning, July 28.
“The boy remains in hospital, however his condition has improved and he has regained consciousness,” he said. “He has been moved out of intensive care and seems to be making a recovery.”
The boy was airlifted to hospital after being involved in the collision at 8:36 p.m. on Monday, July 6.
The crash occurred at a private property in Malahide southeast of Aylmer.
