Spitfires start preseason with a loss

Aylmer Jr. C Spitfires goalie Andrew Harriman-Duke made a pad save in the first period of his team’s first exhibition game of the season versus Norwich at East Elgin Community Complex on Saturday night, Aug. 22. Aylmer lost 4-3. The Spitfires next host Delhi in exhibition action at the Complex on Wednesday, Aug. 26, puck drop at 7:15 p.m. and then Tavistock visits Aylmer on Wednesday, Sept. 2, game time at 8:15 p.m. The Spitfires begin the regular season on the road in Mount Brydges on Friday, Sept. 18, game time at 8:15 p.m. and then head to Port Stanley the next night (Saturday, Sept. 19), puck drop at 7:30 p.m. Aylmer hosts the season home opener on Saturday, Sept. 26 versus North Middlesex (Parkhill) starting at 7:30 p.m.
