Theresa Klachan no longer with EECC

East Elgin Community Complex (EECC) General Manager Theresa Klachan ended her time at the facility as of Friday, Aug. 14.

“As of Aug. 14, 2015, Theresa Klachan has left her position to pursue other interests and challenges,” Aylmer Administrator Jennifer Reynaert wrote in an email response. “I anticipate the vacancy will be addressed by the Interim (EECC) Board at the scheduled Sept. 2 meeting.”

The administration of the EECC falls under the Town of Aylmer but the twin-pad arena facility is co-owned by Aylmer and Malahide.

All EECC staff are employees of and are paid by the Town of Aylmer but all of the facility’s costs are equally shared by the two municipalities.

“Councils of the Township of Malahide and the Town of Aylmer wish her (Mrs. Klachan) the best in her future endeavours,” Ms. Reynaert concluded in her email message.
