Aylmer, Malahide mayors running again

The mayors of Aylmer and Malahide plan to run again in the Oct. 27, 2014 municipal election.

Malahide Mayor David Mennill submitted his nomination form on the first day he could do so, Thursday, Jan. 2.

Aylmer Mayor Jack Couckuyt filed his nomination with the Clerk’s office on Friday, Jan. 3.

No other candidates had come forward in Aylmer, Malahide, Bayham or Central Elgin as of Monday, Jan. 6.

Hopeful candidates have until Sept. 12, 2014 at 2 p.m. to file their nominations.
