Mayor Ens seeking re-election

Bayham Mayor Paul Ens is seeking re-election in the Oct. 27 municipal election.

He submitted his nomination documents on Tuesday, May 20.

“There are a lot of great things happening in our municipality and I want to help them continue and be part of it,” Mayor Ens said.

Rick Cerna filed his nomination documents to run for Ward 3 councillor in Malahide the same day.

“There is so much going on in this township, I just thought it was time to get involved,” he said.

While he and his wife Christine of six years live near Langton, Mr. Cerna grew up in Malahide and still farmed on Carter Road and operated his mother Sylvia’s farm on Anger Road.
