Complex business plan project receives grant

The project to develop a business plan for the future operations of East Elgin Community Complex will receive an up to $25,000 grant from the provincial government.

A bylaw to authorize the signing of an agreement between the Town of Aylmer, Township of Malahide and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs for the Rural Economic Development (RED) program received three readings by Aylmer councillors at their Monday, Nov. 3 meeting.

The total project could cost as much as $50,000 of which Aylmer and Malahide would each pay $12,500.
