Aylmer Bantams reach final in home tournament

Joseph Gillespie, right, of the Aylmer Bantam Local League hockey team tried to stickhandle around an Ayr defender during the annual Christmas holiday tournament at East Elgin Community Complex on Saturday, Dec. 27. Aylmer won the game 3-2 which allowed them to finish first in the round robin section of the tournament. Aylmer played New Hamburg in the final which the local squad lost 5-1.
