Thursday, January 29th, 2015

Malahide Deputy Mayor Mike Wolfe has called for his township plus Aylmer and Bayham to form a committee to raise money through public donations for the $29-million replacement of Terrace Lodge long-term care home.

He was at a county council meeting Tuesday, Jan. 27, where Elgin Administrator Mark McDonald had reported on similar campaigns for the rebuilding of the county’s two other homes for seniors,┬áBobier Villa in Dutton and Elgin Manor in Southwold.

Each of those efforts raised from $600,000 to $700,000.
