Tall ship highlights Port Stanley Harbourfest

Tall ship The PatHarbourfesthfinder was seen coming into shore on the late morning of Saturday, Aug. 6 during Port Stanley Harbourfest. The Pathfinder is a brigantine which was designed and built as a sail training vessel for Toronto Brigantine Inc. by Francis A. McLachlan in Kingston and launched in 1963. Those attending Harbourfest could pay for a tour of The Pathfinder which included a sail out into Lake Erie. Other highlights of the weekend-long Harbourfest included fireworks on the Saturday night, live music, a vendor fair, street performers, a firefighters’ fish fry and an art show.
