Lots of smoke from Orwell home

Several Malahiorwellfirede volunteer firefighters responded to what was first believed to be a fire at a home located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Talbot Line and Norton Street in Orwell on Tuesday morning, Nov. 22. This photo was taken at about 10:15 a.m. Firefighters were focusing their efforts on the chimney of the home at the time and the smoke then quickly dissipated. “It wasn’t an actual fire, just lots of smoke from a duct being dislodged,” Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police Constable Adam Crewdson said. No further information was available.
