Bircham, William Leonard “Bill” of Aylmer, suddenly passed away August 31st, 2019, in his 73rd year, as the result of a tragic accident. Dearly loved husband of 50 years to Jean (Dibert) Bircham, loved father of Chris, Clay & Jennifer, Cathy, and Cindy Bircham. Cherished grandfather of Micaela and Aiden Bircham. Dear brother of Charles & Marilyn Babcock, Margaret Wilson, and the late Lorraine Harrison. He will be missed by his in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. Bill was born in St. Thomas on October 31st, 1946, the son of the late Leonard and Maude (Babcock) Bircham. He worked for Ontario Hydro (Hydro One) until he retired in 2000. He then worked forVoyageur Transportation for several years before he “officially” retired. Bill enjoyed family, ATV riding, trap shooting, whiskey, hunting, fishing, playing computer games, and spending time with friends. His four-legged family, especially Ruby & Lola, will also miss him dearly. Cremation has taken place with a private ceremony to occur at a later date. A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at the Aylmer Legion, 211 John St. N. in Aylmer on Saturday, September 7th from 1-4 p.m. Remembrances may be made to SALT Rescue Organization of London or the Aylmer Area Community Foundation.
