Aylmer Atoms down Port Stanley

Aylmer Atom Rep forward Branden Ostrander, right, tried to knock Port Stanley’s Quinn Minielly off of the puck during their first game of the annual Rep hockey tournament at East Elgin Community Complex on Friday night, Nov. 14. Aylmer won 5-1. Branden scored two goals and added two assists. Ashton Ivanyshyn also scored two goals and two assists for Aylmer while Aiden Shaw had a goal and two assists. Quinn scored Port Stanley’s goal. Twenty-six teams from various communities in five age divisions (Novice to Midget) participated in the tournament that ran in both of the Complex’s rinks from Friday afternoon to late Sunday afternoon.
