Conversation starters at Bethel Church
Volunteer Karinna DeJong, left, helped Douglas Krahn make his “conversation can” at Bethel United Reformed Church’s Vacation Bible School on Wednesday morning, July 29. After he completed the project, Douglas was to take the can filled with questions printed on little slips of paper home so that he could use them to start conversations with his parents. Bethel United Reform Church is located just east of Aylmer on Talbot Line near Hacienda Road. There was a safari theme at this summer’s week-long vacation Bible school offered at the church and its official title was Camp Kilimanjaro, An Epic Expedition Through Proverbs.
