Heimattag celebrated in Aylmer

The Aylmer German Canadian Club hosts Heimattag, an annual German, Transylvanian and Saxon cultural celebration, every few years. Members of other German and Transylvanian clubs from throughout North America visited Aylmer for this year’s Heimattag. Highlights of this year’s event in Aylmer included dinner and dances on both Friday and Saturday nights, heritage exhibits and tours of Saxonia Hall and a church service on Sunday followed by lunch and cultural events.
