Wrapped up in water at Springfield library
Ilse Kloosterman, 10, struggled into a wet T-shirt during a relay race at a weekly children’s summer program at Springfield library, Thursday, July 23. Competitors had to dip the T-shirt in water and put it on before running back to their team to hand off the shirt to the next racer. That day, 40 children and five teen leaders participated in events. They’ve read 926 books so far on their way to a goal of 2,015 by the end of summer.
