Drawing fun at Port Burwell Library
About 25 children attended the last session of the Summer Reading Club held at the Fred Bodsworth Public Library of Port Burwell on Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 11. They gathered outside underneath the adjacent gazebo for a fun drawing exercise where they were given a specific body part of a creature to draw with a marker and then asked to pass the sheet of paper to the person on their left so they could add the next body part to the drawing. The collaborative approach to drawing the about 25 different creatures generated laughter and some creative interpretations.
