EESS opens field hockey season at City Wide

Brittany Kirk of East Elgin Secondary School charged down the field with the ball during a Thames Valley Regional girls field hockey game against Strathroy Collegiate Institute at City Wide Sports Park in London, Wednesday, Sept. 30. In changes from last year, all matches will be played on the aritificial turf at City Wide, with three shortened games of 35 minutes against different schools each match day this season. On this day, EESS lost to Parkside Collegiate Institute, 0-4, tied Strathroy District Collegiate Institute 0-0 and bested Glencoe District High School 2-0.
