John Maxwell Lamers

Lamers, John Maxwell of Edmonton, Alberta passed away suddenly at the age of 53 in his home on December 16, 2018. John is survived by his wife Jo-ann Lamers, his children, Brock Lamers, Mitchell Lamers and step-daughter Kristin Adamski, sister Melissa Lamers, brothers in-law Scott Ryan and Tim Ryan (Becky) and granddaughter, Adelaide. He loved his nephew Jessman, just like his own son.

John will be missed by a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by his mother Lezora Lamers, father John Lamers Sr., nephew Billy Lamers, mother in-law Barabra Ryan and father in-law Robert Ryan.

John was born in St. Thomas, Ontario on July 6th 1965, He resided many years in Aylmer, St. Thomas, and London; eventually settled in Edmonton, Alberta. John was a construction worker for many years, being a foreman and loader operator. His hobbies included NASCAR, Green Bay Packer enthusiast, riding his Harley Davidson, and arm wrestling. John participated in outdoor activities such as camping, barbecuing and playing Texas Horseshoes.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
