Belmont Peewees advance to OMHA finals

Belmont Peewee Rep goalie Chase McGee dealt with a flurry of action in front of his net during the fifth game of an Ontario Minor Hockey Association semifinal series against Port Dover, Saturday, March 8. . Port Dover went up 2-0 in the first period, but Belmont narrowed that gap to one in the second period. In the third, Belmont scored twice more to win the game 3-2 and the series three games to two. Belmont will now face Mariposa in the OMHA championship series. Belmont’s Novice Rep team also advanced and will take on Hagersville in the OMHA West finals.
