His love for music, family, camping, fishing, hunting and all that nature had to offer, brought him such peace and joy in his lifetime. David will be deeply missed. His generosity and kindness will live on through his family and friends. Through it all, he never lost his sense of humour – right to his bitter end. I have lost a warm, kind-hearted, intelligent and most joyful soul, a loving husband and a very loyal friend. Rest in Peace “My Doctor Dave.” A Celebration of Life will follow on September 24, 2022 at Avondale United Church, 60 Harvey St. Tillsonburg, Ontario N4G 5V8 with a music jam and pot luck for all to enjoy.
For even if I’m far away, I hold you in my heart,
I sing a secret song to you, each night we are apart.
When tomorrow starts without me, and I’m not there to see;
If the sun should rise and find your eyes, all filled with tears for me;
I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you,
And each time that you think of me,
I know you’ll miss me too.
So when tomorrow starts without me,
Don’t think we’re far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I’m right here, in your heart.
