Two dead after fall from St. Thomas train trestle
The St. Thomas Police confirmed on Monday evening, Nov. 30 that two adults had died after falling from the train trestle at Sunset Drive and Fingal Line in the southwest area of the city earlier that day.
St. Thomas Police Constable Jeff De Leeuw sent out an email statement about the incident shortly after 8 p.m. on Monday.
He wrote that emergency services, which included police, firefighters and paramedics, were called to the area of Sunset Drive and Fingal line shortly after 4 p.m. on Monday after reports were received that two people had fallen from the train trestle.
The names, ages, genders and home communities of the two adults who died in the incident were not provided by police and a cause for the fall was not given.
