Bob De Angelis – “Newf”
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bob De Angelis of Belmont on December 17, 2025, at the age of 65. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Jean De Angelis, and brother Paul.
Survived by his siblings Joe, Mary Ann, Emmett (Sue), and Tonner, and ex-wife Rhonda, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends, including lifelong best friend Vince.
Bob will forever be lovingly remembered by his children, Jeffrey (Jazmun), Shawn (Rachel) and Veronica (Daryn), and grandchildren Kayla, Brooke, Carter, and Elodie. Raising his children was his greatest joy in life; until his grandchildren arrived. Bob was easily found at every school function, sporting and extracurricular event, or birthday party, loudly showing his pride and love for his grandchildren.
A lifelong member of the Belmont Boys, Bob always ran into someone he knew, wherever he went. Conversations and stories bragging about his grandkids, terrible jokes, and head thrown back laughter were sure to follow. Bob had a mischievous spirit, kind heart, and love for sports and music, which he passed on to his kids. He was the most adoring Papa, and involved Dad, whose love was truly unconditional.
In lieu of donations, consider donating blood or helping an elderly neighbour in Bob’s honour.
Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, January 18, 2026 from 1-4pm at Dorchester Legion, 1227 Donnybrook Drive, Dorchester, ON
