COLIN STANHOPE RIDGWELL

Peacefully at Terrace Lodge Nursing Home, Aylmer on Friday December 23, 2022, Colin Stanhope Ridgwell formerly of Tillsonburg passed away. Predeceased by Ruth and Nellie and friends Vonda and Betty. Loving father to Shirley (Rick) Antonissen, Wanda (Charles) Whitesell, Ellen (the late Doug) Towne and Kathy (Darren) Stafford. Proud grandfather to 7 grandchildren, Andrea, Christopher, Deborah, Kevin, Terri-Lynn, Wesley and Riley and 6 great grandchildren, Molly, Grady, Scarlett, Sebastian, Gabriel and Lachlan. Survived by his sister Mavis Honsberger and brother Terry Ridgwell. Also predeceased by his parents William and Emily, son Harold, granddaughters Jennifer and Michelle Annen, great grandson Jason, brothers Brian and Tony and sisters-in-law Joan and Simone and brother-in-law Don Honsberger. Cremation has taken place.   Friends and relatives were received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Thursday, December 29, 2022 for a visitation and Memorial Service. Private Interment was held at the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Rev. Paul Robinson officiated. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Harvard Association and the County of Elgin Terrace Lodge Building Fund would gratefully accepted by the family.
