Gerry Freeman

Freeman, Gerry of St. Thomas and formerly of Aylmer passed away peacefully with his family by his side at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday, December 19, 2025. He was 87 years old. Beloved husband of the late Clarene (Hardcastle) Freeman(2018). Dear father of Doug(Shyann) of Calgary and Christine(Rob) of Copenhagen.  He will be missed by his grandchildren Tyler Dwyer(Karyssa) and Shannon Dwyer and great-grandchildren Lincoln, Ainsley and Vivienne. Born in St. Thomas, Ontario on March 27, 1938, son of the late Ken and Edna(Smith) Freeman. Gerry owned and operated Freeman Electric for many years. He loved spending time with family and friends at Fin and Feather at Long Point Bay. He served on the Aylmer Fire Department, was Past President of the Aylmer Fair Board and a member of Trinity Anglican Church. Gerry and Clarene enjoyed many years travelling to Fort Myers, Florida.  He was an avid golfer. Visitation will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday, December 21, 2025 from 1-4 p.m.  The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 22, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
