Iva Benner

Benner, Iva Gertrude formerly of Aylmer passed away peacefully at Extendicare Port Stanley on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Benner(2002). Loving mother of Doug(late Cindy) of Aylmer, Bill(Karen) of Aylmer and Darlene McIntee(John) of Blenheim. Dear grandmother of Scott, Wayne, Tracy, James(Heather), Andrew(Danielle) and Cody. Also survived by a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Ina Vyse, Dorothy McQuiggan, Greta Sutherland, and brothers Robert and Roy Mayo. Born in Malahide Township, Ontario on July 5, 1933, daughter of the late William and Annie May (Rutter) Mayo. Iva was an active member of the Rebekah Lodge. She loved her trailer at Springwater and traveling across North America. She took great pride in her garden. Visitation will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday, March 13 2025 from 6-8:00 p.m.  The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 14, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
