McGregor pupils take over Eastlink Arena

lic School physical education teacher Penny Hilliker explained the rules to pupils for a frozen tag game they were about to play during the last skating day of the season at East Elgin Community Complex for the Aylmer school on Thursday, March 12. The first pupils hit the ice at 9:30 a.m. and the last skaters started unlacing shortly after 2:45 p.m. Each class had an assigned ice time and were shuttled by bus between the school and the Complex and the Eastlink Arena. Several school staff and volunteer parents were on hand to help the pupils on and off the ice.
