EESS girls advance, boys knocked out
East Elgin Secondary School’s girls soccer team, at home, bested Central Elgin Secondary School 2-1 in a Thames Valley Southeast quarterfinal Friday, May 13, to advance to a semifinal against host Lord Dorchester Secondary School on Tuesday, May 17, at 3:30 p.m.
LDSS finished the regular season in first on the East division this year, while EESS was second in the South division.
Meanwhile, also at home Friday, May 13, East Elgin’s boys lost their soccer quarterfinal to Central Elgin 1-2, knocking them out of further TVRAA playoffs.
