Family fishing fun
Several children, their p
arents and grandparents participated in the annual Family Fishing Day sponsored by the Elgin Conservation and Hunting Heritage Association on Saturday morning, May 28 at the Howe property located off Rogers Road just south of John Wise Line southwest of Aylmer. Children could fish for free and were treated to lunch with ice cream for dessert while parents could also fish for a small fee and have lunch by donation. Prizes for top fish were awarded by measurement to children up to age 17 and raffle prizes were drawn.
