Unauthorized fire north of Aylmer
While the property owner had a burn permit for getting rid of brush and scrap lumber and a demolition permit to remove the building, he did not have permission to burn down an old farm house he had previously torn down on Ron McNeil Line just east of Imperial Road on Friday afternoon, June 10. This photo was taken at about 4:30 p.m. that day. A Malahide Township official said neither of those permits issued by the municipality allows the burning of buildings, “nor is there a permit available to do this.” Malahide firefighters attended the scene and allowed the burning of the building to continue after issuing a warning “that this was not acceptable.”
