Dumping cleaned up by volunteers

Kory Kuipers, left, of Orange Dumpster Rentals joined forces with volunteer Dean Grbich to clean up furniture, old carpets and other household goods dumped beside clothing donation bins at the former Family Mart on the south side of Highway 3 just west of Aylmer, Thursday morning, June 9. They filled a 20-yard dumpster–the equivalent of 540 cubic feet–to the top. “I got sick of looking at it,” Mr. Kuipers explained, so he decided to donate his time and dumpster to the cause of beautifying the west entrance to town. He said he’d take the material to a recycling plant to sort out what could be put to good use, with the rest to go to a dump.
