Ronald Roy Berry
Ronald Roy Berry
Nov. 6, 1958 – Aug. 14, 2021
Suddenly, on August 14, 2021, Ronald Roy Berry passed away surrounded by his loving wife Marlene and his daughters Melissa (Dave) and Mandy (Matt). Ron was born in St. Thomas on November 6, 1958 to Colin and Louise Berry. He was married to his best friend Marlene (Legg) in 1981 and spent over 40 years with her making memories. They had several grandchildren and great grandchildren all of which Ron was proud of. He never missed the chance to boast about all of them to anyone he could. They were his greatest joy.
Ron will be dearly missed by his four sisters, Lorraine, Leona, Linda, Coleen and their families and by his extra special brother Louis and by his brother in law Chuck and his family. In addition, he will be sadly missed by several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends and of course by his four legged friend Rocky.
Ron loved motorcycles and John Deere tractors and always had a joke or a story to tell to everyone he met. His free spirit and quick wit gave so many a smile and will be missed.
During his lifetime Ron was a giver and was always there to lend a helping hand to others. In his death he continues his legacy of giving through organ donation. This last act of kindness to others makes him a true hero to us. As per his wishes, cremation and a private family service has taken place. In lieu of flowers please honour Ron by donating or helping someone in need or to a charity of your choice.
To celebrate Ron a casual outdoor gathering (open house) will be held on August 29, 2021 from 1 to 3 p.m. Potluck to follow for all those who would like to stay. Steve and Linda Broadbent have graciously offered their back yard for the gathering. Their address is 51735 Talbot Line, Aylmer. Come as you are
