MURPHY, Amber Ann (December 7, 1998 – November 21, 2021) – With deep sorrow, we the announce the sudden passing of our much-loved daughter, sister, granddaughter, mother, and friend, Amber Ann Murphy, of Tillsonburg, at the London Health Science’s Centre- Victoria Campus, at the age of 22. Amber will be remembered by many for her love for animals, the outdoors, quadding, fishing, and as the loving mother to her young son Jaxson (survived by his father Chris Young). Amber was a past attendee of East Elgin Secondary School, Aylmer. Dearly missed by her mother and stepfather Michelle (Barry) Alger, of Tillsonburg and by her father and stepmother Jason (Samantha) Murphy, of Straffordville. Lovingly remembered by her siblings: Ashley Dickens, of Springford; Madison (Logan) Burwell, of Tillsonburg; Aiden Alger, of Tillsonburg; Tyler Murphy, of Straffordville. Survived by her caring grandparents Cindy (Don) Alcock, of Cloyne, Ontario; Dan (Bev) Murphy, of Aylmer. Also survived by her ‘nana’ Pam Docheff, of Straffordville, as well as by her great-grandparents, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Predeceased by her grandfather Randy Dickens, uncle Chucky Dickens, and by her ‘papa’ Mitro Docheff. A private family viewing and gathering will take place on Thursday, November 25th, in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes- Burial and Cremation Services Inc. Chapel, 262 Broadway, Tillsonburg. Cremation follows. A Private Memorial Service to Celebrate Amber’s Life will be held on Monday, November 29th, 2021, in the Verhoeve Funeral Homes Chapel, Tillsonburg by Gary Sheils. All attendees must wear a mask and are asked to always maintain social distancing regulations. At Amber’s online tribute page, all are invited to share favourite memories, photos, send flowers or contribute memorial donations towards a trust fund for Jaxson (cheques made out to “Michelle Alger” (memo line: for Jaxson) would be gratefully acknowledged by the family).
