Anna Neufeld

With heavy hearts, our family shares the unexpected passing of Anna
Neufeld on March 10, 2023, at home near Aylmer, Ontario at the age of
57. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, as well as a dear
sister in the Lord, especially to the congregation of the Church of
God in Aylmer
She is survived by her devoted husband, Jacob; her children: Jacob
(Heidi), Annie, John (Linda), Isaak (Brigitte), Judy (Joe), Rebecca
(engaged to Zacc), Andrew, Ruth, and Javier; her grandchildren:
Deanza, Xaver, Angela, Juliana, Darla, and Damian; her brothers and
sisters: Margaret, Susan, Mary, Isaak, Frank, Peter, George, and
Abram. She was predeceased by a grandson Nathanael in 2020.
Anna was born in Chihuahua, Mexico on April 20, 1965 to the late Isaak
and Anna Giesbrecht. She married Jacob Neufeld – the love of her life
– on August 3, 1986. Jacob and Anna immigrated to Canada in the 90s in
search of brighter economic prospects for their young family. Anna was
spiritually hungry and a diligent seeker of truth. In the summer of
2000, she joined the congregation of the Church of God in Aylmer and
blessed the saints with her exemplary life. She was active in the
congregation, volunteering in the school, and contributing to the
fabric of the community. As a mother she took special care to point
her children to the Lord and relentlessly pray for their salvation. We
have no doubt that she has transitioned from this life to glory and we
sorrow not as those who have no hope, for we know that will meet again
someday.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 14th at the Church of God,
751 John St N, Aylmer from 6-8 PM. The funeral service will be at the
Church of God on Wednesday, March 15th at 11 AM with interment
following at the Aylmer Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to
Bieman Funeral Home, Dorchester.
