Barbara “Barbie” Long

LONG, Barbara Jean “Barbie” of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, March 23, 2024 in her 79th year. Dear partner of the late Brian Holsworth (2008). Dear mother of Derrick Long (partner Kate) of London and Greg Long (wife Cynthia) of Cambridge. Loving grandmother of Brody (wife Nichole), Sarah, Jenn (husband David), Jackson, Olivia and great-grandmother of Natalie, Liam and Ella. Born in Tillsonburg, Ontario on December 31, 1945, daughter of the late Al and Gladys Oatman. Barb was a PSW for VON. She was hard working, feisty and enjoyed getting together with friends at the Legion. A celebration of Barb’s life will be held at the Aylmer Legion on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 1 to 3 p.m.  Share memories or condolences at kebbelfuneralhome.com
