Betty Miedema

Miedema, Betty (Eising – Tenhor) of Aylmer and formerly of St. Thomas passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 in her 89th year. Loving mother of Robert Miedema(Debbie) of Mossley, Nancy Westerveld(John) of Chatham, Rick Miedema(Nancy) of St. Thomas, Tim Miedema(Sandra) of London, John Miedema(Sue) of Alcove, Quebec and Monica Wiebe(Peter) of St. Thomas. Step-mother of Henry Eising(Ruthie), Jane Weverink(Len) and Adrian Eising(Rosanne). Sister of Henry Tenhor(Norma Jean) and Martin Tenhor(late Rose and late Carol) and sister-in-law of Nelda Tenhor. Dear friend of Colin Ridgewell. Also survived by a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Clarence Miedema(2003), husband Jan “John” Eising(2007), son Michael Miedema and brother Luke Tenhor. Born in Friesland, the Netherlands on January 30, 1933, daughter of the late Melle and Rose (Klamer) Tenhor. Betty was a faithful member of the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church. The funeral service will be held at the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment, Elmdale Cemetery.
