“Bill” William Charles Abell

ABELL, “Bill” William Charles of R. R. 4 Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, April 11, 2018.  He was 82. Beloved husband of Bernice (Davis) Abell.  Dear father of Julie of Aylmer, Sandra (Joe Valerio) of London, Sharon Russell (late Dave) of Corinth and Mike Abell (Wendy) of Springfield. Loving grandfather of Andrea (Mark), Andrew (Swetha), Steven, Bethany, Matthew, Sandy, Michael (Mairead), Brittany, Christopher, Daniel, Markus and Faith.  Great-grandfather of Hannah, Marshall and Addelyn. Brother-in-law to Ruby Abell of R.R. 4, Aylmer.  Predeceased by grandchildren Caitlyn and Joshua, brothers Jack and Ken (Marian) Abell. Born in Malahide Township on July 28, 1935 son of the late Ray and Reba (Gillett) Abell. Bill was an industrial electrician with many large projects including the Ford plant, London Health Sciences and London One. He was a member of Local 120. The funeral service was held on Monday, April 16, at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer.
