Cornelius Meurs

MEURS, Cornelius of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Wilhelmina (VanDyck) Meurs. Dear father of Marlene Meurs (Ken) of St. Thomas and Dave Meurs (Kitty) of Thamesford. Loving grandfather of Melissa, Danielle, Nicole, David (Lexi), Devin (Stephanie) and great-grandfather of Jared (Stephanie), Jordan, Grady, Ryder, Reese, Rya, Lenix and McKenna. Brother of Theo (Dory), Piet, Ben (Lien) and Thea Severin (Martin). He will be missed by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his grandson Alex.  Born in Leuth, The Netherlands on March 28, 1934, son of the late Cornelius and Theodora (Leenders) Meurs. Cornelius worked for over 30 years at Clarke Equipment. The funeral service was held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Saturday, April 15, 2023. Cremation has taken place.
