Dorothy Lowanna McCallum

MCCALLUM, Dorothy Lowanna of Aylmer passed away at Chartwell Home on Wednesday, May 23, 2018.  She was 85. Beloved wife of the late John “Jack” McCallum.  Loving mother of Larry McCallum and wife Mary and Paul McCallum and wife Susan.  Cherished grandmother of David (Jamie), Michael (Julie-Ann), Teresa, Andrea (Devon), Jessica (Sean), Jason (Sadie), Melissa (Kevin), Justin (Jamie), Danielle and Jimmy.  Dear great-grandmother to 12 great-grandchildren.  Adored sister to Margaret Carter and Wayne Smith (Lise) and sister-in-law to Jean Smith. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.  Lowanna was fiercely dedicated to her family and was a wonderful homemaker. Born in Tillsonburg on January 31, 1933, daughter of the late Borden and Dorothy (Cupples) Smith.  Until recently, Lowanna was an active member of Mapleton Church of Christ.  The funeral was held on Monday, May 28 at the H. A.
