Evelyn Mooser
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Evelyn Ria Mooser of Belmont in her 68th year. Beloved wife of John. Loving mother of Michael (Carmi) of Fonthill, Danielle Nolan (Michael) of Springfield and Dave (Memory) of Welland. Proud grandma of Ryenn, Brenden, Benji, Niko, Winnet, Melody and Melanda and proud great grandma of Zayla. Sister of George Vandebeek (Jackie), Ed Vandebeek, Jane Chubak (Steve) and Debbie Bowman (Dave). Evelyn will be fondly remembered and missed by the extended Mooser and Vandebeek families.
Evelyn was happiest when helping others. She was a selfless force in her community, as a lifelong member of the Belmont United Church, and while working with her PMDU colleagues & countless paediatric cancer families during her more than 30 years at LHSC.
Evelyn was proudest as a wife, mother and grandmother. You always knew Evelyn was in the crowd whether it be at a soccer, hockey or volleyball game. Her laugh was infectious. She was pure joy, energy and positivity even in the hardest times. This is how we will always remember her.
Friends will be received at the Bieman Funeral Home, 3970 Hamilton Road, Dorchester on Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A private family service will be held at a later date. Interment of cremated remains Dorchester Union Cemetery.
