Garry Rawcliffe

Rawcliffe, Garry “Rocky” passed away peacefully with his wife by his side at Woodingford Lodge, Tillsonburg on Thursday, July 3, 2025. He was 78 years old. Garry was a resident of Orwell for many years. Beloved husband of Elaine(Lockey) Rawcliffe. Survived by daughters Tanya and Dawn, a sister Shirley Wyatt and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Garry was brother-in-law of Dan Lockey, Doug Lockey(Gilda), Karen Sinden(George), Lorie Lockey, Maryann Walsh, Jeff Lockey(Kim) and Mark Lockey. Born in Hagersville, Ontario on March 2, 1947, son of the late James and Ruth(Dossier) Rawcliffe. He retired from Ford Talbotville after 31 years of service and drove school bus for 10 years. Garry will be remembered for his big heart and willingness to help whenever he could. He was Past Master of Malahide Lodge No. 140, Past First Principal of Aylmer Chapter 81, Past District Secretary of London District Royal Arch Masons, Past Preceptor of Burleigh Preceptory No. 21 and  Past Thrice Illustrious Master of Nineveh Council No. 3. Garry was a member of the Order of the High Priesthood, York Rite Sovereign College, Red Cross of Constantine, London York Rite College, Eli Council #7, Allied Masonic Degrees of Canada and other Masonic bodies.

A celebration of Garry’s life and Masonic Service will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. with visitation from 2-4:00 p.m. and 5 to 6:45 p.m. Donations to Shriner’s Hospital for Children would be appreciated.
