Gizella Angyal

Angyal, Gizella passed away peacefully at Extendicare Port Stanley on Saturday, June 22, 2024 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Stephen Angyal(1973) and Istvan Angyal(2010). Dear mother of Dennis(Louise) of St. Thomas. Loving grandmother of Natalia(Mark), Julia(Nicholas) and Tyler(Rochelle) and great-grandmother of Ethan. Predeceased by her son Donald(July 1, 2023) and her sisters Emma, Mary and brother Alex Jr. She will be missed by her sister-in-law Elizabeth and a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Niagara Falls, Ontario on March 7, 1931, daughter of the late Alexander Sr. and Gizella(Nogrady) Tothfalusi. Gizella found her greatest joy from spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing euchre and singing in the choir. She sang first at St. Paul’s United Church in Aylmer, then St. Andrew’s Presbyterian in Strathroy and later Caven Presbyterian Church in Exeter. The funeral service will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Cremation-burial, Aylmer Cemetery. Donations to Helping Paws Rescue would be appreciated.
