QUICK: Harry Scott – passed away suddenly while camping with the love of his life and good friends on Saturday, October 18, 2025. Scott Quick of St. Thomas in his 67th year.
Beloved husband of Denise (Chambers) Quick who he married November 8, 1980. Dear father of Kevin & Julie Quick of London and Michelle Quick of St. Thomas. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Elaina, Clayton, Claire, Cameryn and Madelyn.
Survived by his brother Larry & Jane of Walsingham, sister Susie Boyd of Simcoe and sister-in-law Margaret Quick of Ilderton, his favourite mother-in-law Darlene Chambers of St. Thomas, brothers-in-law Bill Chambers of Houghton, John & Shanye Chambers of Burks Falls and sister-in-law Margaret & Mike Jonckheere of Houghton and by his many nieces and nephews
Predeceased by his parents Gordon (Oct, 2002) and Sadie (Feb, 2001) Quick and brothers Wayne (July, 2023) and Murray (Aug, 2023), Don (May, 2025), sister-in-law Janet (Oct, 2020) and father-in-law Pat Chambers (Feb, 2010) and brother-in-law Bob Boyd (Nov, 2017)
Scott, a plumber, worked at Kellogg’s in London for 28 years. He made many friends there that lasted long past the plant closure. Scott was an avid golfer who enjoyed many rounds with his Kellogg’s and long time Langton friends. Scott looked forward to his annual deer hunting with Kevin and family members. Scott enjoyed spending time with his children and adoring grandchildren. He was the best neighbour and would help anyone with anything. Most of all, Scott loved spending time with Denise and they were blessed to have many holidays and adventures with great friends.
Relatives and friends will be received in the Jeffrey W Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front Rd. Port Rowan on Thursday,October 23, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be conducted in the Clark Chapel of the funeral home on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 11:00am. Interment to follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Walsingham.
