Hendrik “Henry” Krygsman
Krygsman – Hendrik “Henry” of St. Thomas passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice, London on September 2nd, 2021 at the age of 73. Dearly loved father of Amanda (Eric). Dear brother of Jane Annen (Case), Cory Hilliker (Fred), and predeceased by siblings Irene Westrik (John) and Mary Tardif. Loving uncle of John, Judy, Barb, Tim, and Rob, and families; Rick, Marianne, John-Albert, and Valerie, and families; Jeff and Shawn, and families; Sonia, Christine, and Melissa, and families. He will be sadly missed by his grandson Connor. Henry was born in Zevenhuizen, The Netherlands, on August 10th, 1948. Son of the late Adrianna “Jean” Marrigje and Cornelius Jules “Core” Krygsman. Henry was a school bus driver for First Student and was a cleaner at the Ontario Police College in Aylmer, Ontario. He particularly enjoyed working on vehicles, especially his Bronco, and renovating his house. In fact, he was presented with 2018 ACO heritage award for the outstanding work he did on the restorations of his house.
A memorial service and visitation took place at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas on Monday, September 6th. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Henry’s memory may be made to St. Joseph’s Hospice of London.
