“Henry” Hank Donkers

Henricus “Henry” (Hank) Donkers passed away peacefully at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on October 21, 2025, at the age of 77. Born in Moergestel, the Netherlands, Henry immigrated to Canada at age five and was raised in Aylmer, Ontario, where his lifelong love of farming began. He later moved to White Fox, Saskatchewan, where he continued to farm and raise his family, and spent his later years living between White Fox and Camiguin Island, Philippines, with his wife Jane. He is survived by his loving wife Jane Ygay Donkers; his children Jennifer Keller, Mark (Denise) Donkers, Casey Donkers, Joe Donkers, Aaron Donkers, and Anneke (Curtis) Wyshynski; and twelve grandchildren Jack, Bella, Myles, Max, Matthew, Adam, Andrew, Anderson, Harper, Rhett, Marshall, and Graham. Also surviving are siblings Leo Donkers, Lena Mezenburg, Gertrude (Teri) Pearson, and Mary McCallum. Predeceased by parents Cornelius and Maria Donkers, and siblings Truusje Donkers, Anne Pullen, Jean Cornelissen, and John Donkers. A Celebration of Life will be held in Aylmer, Ontario; details to be announced.
